A young village girl meets her tragic end at the hands of her own people, being subsequently thrust into a new world, ruled by the god they all worship. Her sacrifice is honored as she, unwillingly, becomes this god's new companion. But how will her story truly end? Do good intentions justify the consequences that follow?
